End of Year Compliance Audit Checklist

December is your compliance audit month. Before the year ends, check every expiration date in PrecisionOps compliance tracking: EPA 608 certifications, NATE certifications, state contractor licenses, business insurance, vehicle insurance, and any local permits your operation requires. A lapsed certification can shut down a job -- or your whole business -- overnight.

PrecisionOps tracks these dates and sends alerts as expirations approach, but December is when you sit down and verify everything manually. Are all your techs current? Is your liability insurance renewing? Did anyone get a new certification that needs to be added to the system?

Set renewal reminders at 90, 60, and 30 days out for anything expiring in the coming year. Renewals take time -- applications, continuing education, inspections. Don't let a paperwork lapse cost you a job in February because you forgot to file in December.
