Document Warranty Info at Install Time

The time to enter warranty information is the day you install the equipment, not six months later when the customer calls with a problem. At install time, you have the model number, serial number, installation date, and warranty terms right in front of you. Log it all in PrecisionOps equipment tracking while you're still on site.

When a warranty claim comes up later, everything you need is already in the system. No digging through filing cabinets, no calling the distributor to look up registration dates, no asking the customer to find paperwork they threw away.
